Description
The Comunello LIMIT 500 is a mechanical 24 V barrier designed for intensive use and high opening speeds. Depending on the accessories, boom length, and control settings, the opening time ranges between 3.5 and 6 seconds. For wider passages, the speed will be slower. The LIMIT 500 is suitable for passages up to 5 meters. For larger openings, we recommend the Fadini BAYT 980 hydraulic barrier or the Comunello LIMIT 800 – the heavier-duty version of the LIMIT 500.

What’s included in the LIMIT 500 kit

• 1x LIMIT 500 barrier housing with integrated control unit and receiver

• 1x LIMIT 500 boom mast (5 m, can be cut to size) with reflective stickers

• 1x LIMIT 500 foundation plate

• Folding boom support foot

• Two LED strips (for the top and bottom of the boom)

A fixed fork support is also available separately if required.

Control & safety options
The barrier can be operated via remote transmitters, card/tag readers, GSM modules, or video intercom systems (often combined with a call or intercom column).

For safety and damage prevention, inductive loops and photocells are used. Loops can be installed under paving or cut into asphalt and detect vehicles from bicycles to cars, depending on sensitivity settings. Photocells prevent pedestrians from accidentally being struck by the boom.
