Description
The BAYT 980 hydraulic barrier is equipped with a built-in hydraulic unit, making it suitable for very intensive use. The opening speed depends on the passage width. Most barriers are supplied with a 4-second opening time. For longer booms up to approx. 6 meters, an 8-second version is usually selected.

Features of the Fadini BAYT 980 barrier
The Bayt series barriers are configured from a barrier housing with integrated control unit, an aluminum boom – with or without LED lighting – and either a fixed support fork or folding rest, depending on the installation requirements. Optionally, an aluminum fence can be fitted underneath the boom to prevent unauthorized pedestrians from passing under the arm.
 

Various control options and safety devices are available. Barriers are often operated by remote transmitters, a GSM module, or card/tag readers. Integration with a video intercom system is also possible, which typically requires an additional access column.
 

To prevent damage, an inductive loop is normally installed beneath the barrier in the pavement. This loop is either placed under paving stones or cut into asphalt, depending on the site conditions. Photo cells are also frequently used to ensure pedestrian safety, preventing the boom from closing on people passing underneath. The inductive loop is primarily intended to detect vehicles, from cars down to bicycles, depending on the sensitivity setting.
